Me: Hey Sean..how come they made Doug's friend Skeeter blue?

my nephew: Its just a cartoon Bob.

Me: yea..I know but how come he's blue?

my nephew: because..to make him different from all the other people on Doug.

Me: yea I know..but why BLUE?

my nephew: because they're showing that there's no more prejudice.


Big up to the creators at Nickelodeon for the political statement in Doug. I had no idea.
