31192, i think it's simply too soon to tell

I think it's too soon to tell what's better than what, you know? We've only had it for so long, while we've had years to chew on his best work...

On the topic of the Soulquarian influence, I think it's definitely felt on the record... a lot. I mean, just his return to a rhodes, you know? Drastically changing the quality of the mix (you can hear the guitar on this record!), better production... and where do those things lead? Well, follow the trail. Listen to the mix of Hunter's guitar on Voodoo, and then listen to the mix of the more jazz guitar lines on TRC... bash me upside the head if those levels aren't pretty damn close.

I think it's great... i mean, to have him 'back in action' musically.

My real question though: will he tour with *this* material? He better... because this is such a live sounding record.
