One of the things that makes him special to me is his ability to disguise loops/samples and mix it with replayed or original elements. The result is that it's hard to tell when it's sampled and when it isn't.

But I never heard him claim that he doesn't use loops, so what is this post based on ?

And FYI : I don't mind people looping stuff, but I like some originality and/or digging (like Brainchild), not just some 80's hit loop.
