Oh...I am throwing shade on dude...lol...i just don't think Take Care is among his best work and at times it panders...

I think Drake's greatest work so far is his first mixtape...That album was a revelation in terms what was perceived as OK to do in hip-hop...His singing added another essence to the music...And his conversational style of rhyming and open book style was badly needed...

I think Curren$y is on the cusp of something special...He just needs the right producer to put it all together for him (I dig dude's style...He's cool without even trying too hard...)

But he's not reaching Drake's first mixtape or good kid...

I'm also ready for Freddie Gibbs to go to the next level....


But my bottom line is this....Out of all these MC's/rappers (Drake, J. Cole, Big Sean, ASAP Rocky, Curren$y, Gibbs, Odd Future crew, Wiz K., ect...), Lamar has just made the album that reminds me of MY ERA...

And he's doing so on his own terms, which is pretty damn refreshing...
