granted, the production is a HUGE factor.
i doubt i would like it if that lick if the production

if the band didn't sound like it was about to fall apart,
and "billie jean" sound like "billie jean"
if those kicks and snares didn't sound so PERFECT.

sure, the production is a huge part of the draw.
but he's responsible for the production,
so that's not a knock on jack white.
