admittedly this is a sidebar, but I can't wrap my head around this effective/non-effective way of seeing music. to me that sounds like a perspective that has completely given into the thinking of music as a product first and foremost.


I obviously know you know music more than 99.99% of us here on the board, so I'm not doubting your expertise or merits, but this way of seeing shit is very disheartening for me as a fan to see in an idol.
