i mean that i haven't really heard anything from them musically that is either unique or aesthetically pleasing. they seem to be more about visuals and shock value. sort of like the first half of clockwork orange translated to black hipster rap. i mean, the production sucks for the most part and none of these niggas are really pushing any envelopes MUSICALLY. it's seems to be more about their weirdo-rebellious vibe than anything.

i just said "white" because usually the whole shtick they use was predominantly relegated to white suburban teens. the whole sacrilegious/violent/misogynistic/inexplicable out of context lyrical rants, etc. it's now becoming more en vogue for the black teen generation i suppose.

don't get me wrong, i'm not really hating but i just don't know what else to call their whole shtick other than a gimmick. if they're around for years to come i'll be the first to eat my words but musically i just don't see anything special about them at present.

with that said, i do like that their doing some left-field shit and i think there's some potential there. i'll still check their music from time to time to see if maybe i've warmed up to it.
