We've gotten so used to 16-year-old in the rap game sounding like they're touched in the head, that it's easy to forget that some of the greats started off at that age. LL was like 15 or 16 when he did "I Need a Beat." King Tee was recording classic 12"s at that age. Shoot, the Souls of Mischie demos that they recording before graduating high school were insane. It makes me happy to see young cats getting off on the right foot.
