he's not articulating it well but he's making sense...he's just talking about how its more closed off to the rest of the world and more country basically. where as in NY there's so much more exposure to global cultures. i dont think he's completely wrong in saying this but what he should say is big city vs. small town mentality instead of north vs south cause if you come to parts of upstate ny you'll see the same closed mindedness and lack of education that he says his southern cousins are going through.

plus the internet has changed cultures around the country...thats why everybody basically sounds, dresses and looks the same in hiphop nowadays. its a smaller world because of it. i get what he's trying to say he's just not expressing it clearly...which has always been a problem for these guys. they have these grand ideas but when they try to express them through conversation, as opposed to music, they come off sounding dumb and inarticulate.
