As crucial as the song was to you, it was even more sideways shit he said on there...like how he said "two tramp five sevens pointed at yo chest"....tramp is a diss for the trays out here, which are a subset of Crips (83's or Eight Trays that Monster Kody was from)...so even him sayin that on there had some hoods lookin at him like "nah, you gonna have to calm that shit down!"

Eiht never really recovered...it was a case where he didn't make a lot of dope music after, but even politically...Quik ran with 92.3 tough, and was even cool with Power 106, so you would NEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER hear anything from MC Eiht on radio. In all honesty, the only song I can even think of since 94-95 that I've heard on L.A. radio from MC Eiht is "Candy"...I'm sure Julio G and some other DJ's played his songs on the night time shows, but as far as regular rotation, he definitely hasn't had any or been on any singles that got play here.
