I'm not sure many of those who are younger than my generation realize how things were when there were only a handful of Black people on Televion in the big time....

The road that Mike went down as a child...and then as a young man was not well traveled when he took it...and he took that road to places it had never been...for any artist..nor will ever be.

He was an amazing talent...probably the most talented entertainer in history....
