I've always believed that. He wanted this record to be HUGE and he didn't stop at nothing until he got it. Quincy was a little more reluctant because he was worried about the public. But being young, Mike wasn't trying to hear that. It's safe to say it paid off in more ways than one. Many of the songs come out like a blaster when you play it especially "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'", that's the CUT!

...besides "Billie Jean" and "Human Nature" of course. :D
