the only points where the album slows down for me are the hook on "the show," and some parts of singing man. BUT the show's beat is awesome, singing man is awesome, and just start to finish, killing.

I've never been in love with TFA. I recognize the genius, the craft, but it's not my roots album. Phrenology caught me more with it's extreme experimentalism, and RD destroys it with consistency, with that dark catchy shit every song. fuck xxl, bol, all the lessonheads that shit all over your music. This is the most solid, consistent, ass kicking album i've heard out of the roots or hip hop. for me at least, this is noughts ('00's) hip hop. this is generational shit.
