speaking of the engineering... everything on this album sounds incredible. much respect to the recording, mixing, and mastering engineers for this one. even just listening to mp3s the shit sounds nice as hell.

as for an overall opinion on the record, i like the dark stuff so this is probably going to end up being my fav roots album. almost every track is virtually unskippable. musically, i'm not digging 'apologize' or 'rising up' as much as the rest but it's still pretty early to count my chickens. literally all the other tracks on the album are my fav hip hop songs of '08 so far.
