both Eddie and Gerald qualify... though Gerald made a whole lot of "young folks" music
Johnny Gill pre-New Edition made music defying his looks and age because of how he sounded as a singer.
even at 17 he sounded like he was much older.
but the funny thing is ... unlike Bobby, Eddie, and Gerald... he does not TALK like anything approaching his singing voice.
