Most have been mentioned. Really, the rule of thumb is...if it's just them and a DJ, I don't really care to go. My reasons are as follows:
- Live bands tend to make up for their deficiencies.
- Far too many MCs play their regular track and rap over it (meaning NOT the instrumental). This is fucking inexcusable, ESPECIALLY in the Serato era.
There are exceptions to this rule. I've always had great times at De La, Jurassic 5, or Talib Kweli shows. But for the most part, that's my rule.
