an AWESOME singer, writer, producer, and musician! i feel like i have lost an uncle. last week i was just listening to his CHANGE(excellent!) and THE MAN IS BACK(good) recordings. i was saying in my mind "ya gotta get better Barry!". i'll never forget doing a promotional project for Barry's recording THE ICON IS LOVE in one of my music industry courses. i enjoyed calling up A&M record executives and getting the material i needed for my class.

i got in front of my class and promoted that album with a big smile on my face because i was happy doing this project on a legend. ONE OF MY FAVORITE ARTISTS! i got an A+! he was so young and had so much more music to share with the world. THE MAN WAS SIMPLY AWESOME! A GREAT HUMAN BEING! i will miss you B.W.! keep makin that great music in heaven! YOU AND MARVIN NEED TO DO THAT ALBUM YOU TALKED ABOUT!
