And it sucks that folks overseas get to see him, and we in america don't.

edit: it's amazing how he blew up over there, and never really did in the states. Like i said before, his voice is an aquired taste, for some, but i like the tone of his voice. And his versions of song he wrote for others, were smoking to me. *shrugs*. Let me also add, "Musical Massage" should've been a big hit for Motown. But, since he wouldn't let Marvin have the "Musical Massage" material, and kept it for himself, Motown didn't want to fuck with him. Which i think is a damn shame.
