Dude has really grown as an emcee. If you've noticed, he doesn't force his lyrics anymore. He stopped trying to be clever and as such comes off much less corny than he used to.
It's always nice to witness the gradual growth of an emcee. I felt the same way in listening to Biggie on LAD and Nas on IWW.
