You should try inviting people you see and play on the regular first, that way you know they'll show up and participate in the league. If the leauge still isn't full, then open the league up to the boards. When you put up an open invite, you're going to get everyone saying they WANT to play when in theory they're just kinda interested.

I'm out the game for at least 2 weeks. 360 died on me after I just bought oblivion(i was sleepin hard on this game). bought it in dec 05 dies in Jan 07. Is this what I've got to expect with the next gen? A year life expectancy? I don't wanna hold the league up(yeah right) so the Rockets are now available. Like, I'll get the message (Wanna play 2k?)......I say yeah.....and then I'm supposed to go to a lobby (OKAYPLAYER)?

I mean, we can't just PLAY right then? I have to find them somewhere? And if this is the case, how come I can never find OKAYPLAYER? I remember one time I did a search for SP_1200 and it said he was in OKAYPLAYER..........but I could never locate it. And I couldn't just jump to it.

I feel like I'm missing something really easy in all of this lol. Anyways, if someone can break it down it would be greatly appreciated.

...only way i ever played any okp's was by meeting in the league lobby (okp lobby) ..i think you couldnt do it because you were not in the league

you might have to both be in the same lobby in order to send / receive an invite.

push that green X button..... go to your friend's list.....

if y'all are playing the same game or the other guy is on the dashboard.. it will allow you to invite them to play.

I don't think it will give you that option if they are in the middle of a game, but that also depends on what game is being played.......

Some games are joinable as well on that same menu.

when we play games.. we gotta make sure that the right team is on the right side.. if the schedule says you are HOME team.. make sure you go to the home side in player select.. there was issues where the wrong team would get the win last time..

you know how like when you have that menu that has Lobbies on it? You should see a selection above or under it that says Invitations.

once you put the game in and go to the main menu go to "Xbox Live" then "Leagues" then "invitations". accept the invite you have and proceed to pick your team.

...u know where you choose sides/uniforms ...i talked all that shit about making sure heads do that, then last night i forgot to go on the right side ..i lost but didnt get a loss, in fact it didnt even register (good game btw Ne_Atl till u lit me up in the 4th) ...this league shit is fragile ...even when we get cats that want to play already we got mad issues..

...heres another thing ...you can go to the schedule and set a date for your game ...i think you should do that because for instance, i play "whosnext" 2 times in our season, im home once, away once.. now if you dont schedule the game, how will the computer know which game ur about to play...

I took last year off from basketball games. But this year, the king is back. lol

TWAboveTopSecret and I played a game and it gave me an L. But the weird thing is before the game it refuse to let us set up who was home and who was away. I don't know. NBA 2K7 is acting up. Need another fix.

maybe that has something to do with it. like if we pre-schedule a game on the schedule screen then maybe it will actually give us the right teams. we tried at least 5-10 times last night and it kept giving me away, even though i was supposed to be home.

good 2nd half though lach you forced me into making a lot of mistakes and broke the game open. nash is a real problem. i need to practice more and get d wade's shot / ft's down. that was the first time i've played miami in a while - i'll try that miami / pistons rival achievement for practice. i'll probably take a couple days off the league but will play some this weekend if anyone's around.
