take sprites from other games. put em anywhere. you can make your own backgrounds etc.
there's currently a dc vs marvel vs capcom mugen joint being made. i think it's still being made. hope no cease and desists were sent.

I got some MUGEN shit with tons of characters from BGOL a while ago and never cracked it open. Imma set up a torrent if y'all want it.
