if you kill someone, and take thier stuff, it doesn't count as stolen.,
so if you kill a guard and take their armor, you can keep it even if you go to jail later
*walks all over oblivion rocking a bruma guard outfit*
I sold it later anyway, cuz the kvatch light armor is better
