with the 2 rows of three buttons... and slapped a place for the VMU in it.
That Saturn pad (especially the later ones, and the Japanese ones that were more refined versions of the later pads... not the early octagons of doom) still is the GOAT.
With a "select" button, it would have been the undisputed GOAT.
