>PConfession: I just missed out on the damn Sony A80J. The 65" was going for $1400 during Prime Day but I was calling myself finishing up some research before pulling the trigger. And then, those TVs were basically all gone in the 65". Gone on Sony's website. Gone on Amazon. Gone at Best Buy for a few days then back up to $2400. DAMNIT!

Right now, I'm waiting on the Sony X95J to make it to the house. The 65" is going for $1300 right now so I did that as to not miss every damn 2021 Sony TV that was on a decent sale before they ran out! FOMO fo sho. It'll go in the bedroom and replace a 55" Samsung. I'll probably play some games on it while I figure out my cave upgrades.

I saw that with the Vizio..it made me sad! I'm very much trying to find a balance between catching TVs at the right time/price and getting something that is at least kinda 'future proof'. IE: I'm gonna try to make sure everything I get now has 2.1 on at least a couple of inputs.

Boo.

Rtings is my go-to for websites.

I found out a buddy from my gig has one for home theatre stuff too. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpqmF_XXFlS81GVHG2uAT9w/videos?view=0&sort=p

And FOMO!? Yes! I love his TV videos. I laugh all the time cuz he loves that Samsung QN90A like Sir Mix-A-Lot likes big butts. And the LG C1? Its almost like his videos should sell that TV out by itself!

Nice. I'm glad to hear that it worked out. I was looking really hard at some of those Hisense models too.

I bought my mama a 50" U6 during prime day. She's mainly gonna watch cable on it so I'm thinking that it'll be fine.

77! Whoooooooo! DO IT! You can't get anyone to hate on that C1 in earnest right now. And yeah, those prices are starting to dip and it looks like LG still has some C1s left.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing in my cave room. But I'm thinking about going cheap and getting that TCL Series 6 since the bugs are allegedly fixed now.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tcl-75-class-6-series-mini-led-qled-4k-uhd-smart-google-tv/6470279.p?skuId=6470279&ref=212&loc=1&extStoreId=255&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl82a6raI-QIVLmxvBB3trAQiEAQYASABEgJGiPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

It's not a huge room but I have the wall space and the viewing distance to pull it off. I'm already operating with two 50" TVs side by side in there.

On that, I want to get nifty..I want to be able to have 2-4 things showing at once. I just don't know how to do it. IE: is it an app on certain TVs? Apple TV? Is it as HDMI switch of some sort? How does it work? So I'm trying to figure that out before moving forward.

I've been operating with 2 TVs at once in my caves for several years and I don't think I want to give that option up. All fall long, I'll be watching a game on one TV and playing some game on another. Or I'll be watching Sunday ticket on the left and Red Zone on the right. Or watching wrestling on one TV and Sunday night football on the other. Things like this.
