305328, When was the last time you burned a disc?
Posted by handle, Sat Oct-17-20 02:03 PM
Wheter it be a CD, a DVD, or a BluuRay?

I have spindles of each that I haven't touched in years - should I keep a hold on them?

Or should I just give them away and buy blanks if for some reason I need to burn a disc??
305329, Man, I guess 2016?

And even in that period, the drive on my iMac stopped being able to write and I had to switch to sending over files with an image of the playlist order for them to recreate in their own media player to burn onto their own CDs, lol.

I used to burn dozens a discs a month - now it's not very often.

I'm going to toss all but 10 of each blank and if I have to buy blank media in the future it's not going to be the 50 spindle packs.

305331, Yesterday, but not for me. For an 70 year old lol

I haven't burnt any kind of disc for myself in probably 5 years or more.

Especially if it's Capcom vs. SNK 2 or Project Justice. I greatly appreciate it.

At least half a decade. I had a printer that made labels too. And I went to town with it bigtime. Good times. But it’s over. It’s been being over. I dig that Spotify lets you have a pic cover for playlists. Every streaming service should have that really.

I tossed all of my blank discs a while ago. I have an external drive if I ever need to burn something. And my old laptop is still functional if it came too it, but yeah..it’s over. Thumb drives/external hard drive would be the way. Hopefully I never need to download some more RAM.

Trying to run Windows on an old mac. I went through four discs that got failures before I just gave up.
