Great JRPG. Not a great job of holding your hand, but that's cool. I can see if you're not into RPG's from back in the day how it could be frustrating.
Only thing fretting my nerves are the side quests, cause a lot of them are just spamming the side actions and fast traveling, but knowing how and when can be a challenge.
The game really opens up once you get all the secondary job shrines opened.
I will agree with the main criticism of the game which is the writing. The writing is really on a back in the day in junior high when you were making your own table top rpg games level.
But I can't complain too much. I got five free months of Game Pass from MS and I want to maximize it, cause otherwise I don't think I'd subscribe. ______________________________________________________________________________
