305902, It's Chapter 3 actually

You can't buy every gun until about 1/3 or so into that chapter and aren't introduced to all the different types of shops and such until then either. If I remember right, the proper point to completely ignore the story is pretty much right after you go fishing with Dutch and Hosea. That said, I'm still lingering in Ch. 2 and have seen plenty of unique shit so I'm really not in a hurry to get to what's the real meat of the game yet either.

There are guides out there for this and it sounds like you've done most of the hunting anyway but when I was really in my zone with RDR2 was when I figured out all on my own how to go out hunting with your main horse and two tag alongs to carry extra carcasses. I'd be out there bringing home like 30 pelts, two moose and a cougar LOL.

But yea once you hit a point in Ch. 3 where it seems like things are settling back into the happy go lucky Ch. 2 groove, everything in the game should be unlocked. I'm just planning to not immediately go check in with Micah after breaking him out this time, apparently you can keep him away from camp for most of Chapter 3 too if you just don't go meet up with him to do his "make good" mission for Dutch.
