>Super Meat Boy is kind of like the spiritual ancestor to that >game in terms of specific, brutal platforming.
Yup, this one is on my list, basically because it came up at the top of every "games like Celeste" search I did. From what I gathered it's a lot more difficult, but I'm definitely going to play it in the future.

Spelunky >as well, though that game never fully clicked with me - it >suffered a little from how often I heard it was absolutely >perfect, I admit. I think after Hades and eventually Dead Cells I might be at my limit with roguelikes haha
>Spiritfarer is minimal platforming but a little puzzly and a >lot of people were deeply affected by its story - I found it >tiring by the end but I'm a coldhearted dude sometimes. No >combat at all!
Will check this one out for sure.
> >Inside and Limbo are both awesome all puzzle no boss side >scrollers that can be finished in a single evening or two >sittings max.
I've watched some videos on these but they seemed less like games and more like movies/stories that I just keep holding right on the joystick to progress. But if there is enough puzzles then it might be worth checking out.
