I've played almost 10 hours and I'm up to chapter 3, lol. Still doing classic + hard mode. It's not FE unless you restart the whole chapter when someone dies!

i'm getting serious FFT x Persona vibes from the videos i've seen. i don't have much experience with FE beyond some NDS emulation and the middling mobile game. i think the class switching was in previous versions but /three houses/ seems to have a more in-depth implementation of that mechanic. the persona-style relationship cultivation is definitely new to me but i believe it was introduced in the last console generation. i'm itching for a good new SRPG experience so this is definitely getting copped with a switch in the near future

The NDS game is a remake of the first game and was very average. Yeah the support system has been in the series for a long time, but I think having the 3D visuals helps a lot, I get the feeling that Koei Tecmo assisted a lot in that regard. The hub feels very similar to the Attack on Titan 2 game. I think FE is a lot easier to get into than FFT as far as SRPGs go, but it's not shallow by any means.

This and Final Fantasy 14 have taken up all my free time and I'm not even complaining.

I went with Black Eagles because of Dorothea, but now I like Petra more, lol

I almost went Blue Lions because I feel they're more serious. I liked Golden Deer because they had a more laid back attitude, but then again they felt a little too laid back.
