303176, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

This is one of, if not the, best single player campaign I've played in years. The jump in quality between this and the first one is enormous. Anyone else playing ti?
303183, third favorite game this year after Horizon and Uncharted

I didn't enjoy the layouts of the levels and felt lost a lot, and even on Easy I found the combat notably difficult even compared to New Order which I'd finished just a week before Colossus came out.

The story was wild though. I couldn't put the controller down 'cause I just wanted to know what was going to happen next. If it'd had been a film there'd be a case for calling it my favorite movie of the year.

303185, It's like if the Coens and Tarentino wrote a movie together

and could direct it without having to worry at all about the physical spaces they were filming because the camera could pass through anything.

this is based on the Wyatt timeline; I hear the Fergus timeline doesn't have the same manic energy.

303187, first couple hours and I'm pretty bored.

loved the original, which felt a lot fresher and put you in a more interesting world right away. hopefully it picks up.
303207, Eh, well done but damn is this sucker hard.....

Maybe it's just me, cause I haven't played a FPS in a while. I grabbed this when it was on sale for a ridiculous price.

But damn, these dudes don't go down when you shoot them. I've had to lower the difficulty level a few times just to get out of a situation. This joint is crazy tough. Either that or I just need my FPS chops back.

Guess that's what I get for playing too much XCom and Tropico 5.

303208, No, it’s hard in a bad way. Even the most seasoned gamer I’d recommend easy to

It is not a fun game, and that’s the biggest knock against it. If I hadn’t played the game on easy I’d be a lot less enthusiastic about it. For comparison, I loved DOOM for its gameplay so much I’ve played it on three of the harder difficulties, and I also barely play FPS.

New Colossus is simply poorly designed. It’s a regenerating health shooter with health packs and no damage feedback. It sounds like a huge level design problem on paper and proved to be a huge level design problem in practice.
