part of what was great about owning two consoles in the N64/PSX era was that both consoles had so many exclusives you needed to own both, and like I said the primary reason I sold my Gamecube was Capcom announcing their exclusives were going over to PS2.

I've never been convinced I need a XBox primarily because of the exclusives, they've never spoken to me and I'm strongly in the "line your d-pad up with your face buttons on your controller" camp - another reason I didn't have two consoles in the Sega era, either (plus, my parents had all the say in that era).

So when I really think about it, it's a bunch of exclusive games I want to play real, real bad. For me, right now I really want to play Zelda, Mario, and Mario vs. Rabbids. But I look at certain multipatform games like Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon and some RPGs and think that it might be real nice to be able to just take that off the TV when I want and keep playing.

But, yea, it doesn't have the lineup right now. I'm just side-eyeing this console harder than I have anything since the Gamecube, and that says something to me. Could just be childhood nostalgia and having not played a Nintendo game in a long, long time.
