Yeah, you're right. If a DP can't be both grab-invincible and strike-invincible, it can't cover enough options to be worth doing. If you're reading throw, you're much better off teching or neutral jumping. If you're reading strike, just block and late tech. There is now a technical aspect to scrubbing out.
