Capcom is the most conservative company when it comes to balance chances. they typically release the game and let the players figure it out, and in my opinion that's the way it should be.

SFV didn't get a "balance" patch all of last year, just bug fixes. The meta of the game changed A LOT in those 10 or 11 months.

that said, since SFV's development is tied to the Capcom Pro Tour schedule, they have some wiggle room because the CPT hasn't started yet. they could make some last minute changes and leave it alone until 2018. the balance changes were radical and many players have been complaining about it, so they're looking at the results to see how legit the concerns are.

i personally hope just some of the characters who got hit hard get buffs. beyond that, i think Capcom should stick to their guns and let the game rock.
