300656, I didn't make a switch earlier because of some other factors. Posted by obsidianchrysalis, Mon Sep-12-16 01:26 PM
The main one being that I couldn't figure out a way to get access to channels like E! and HGTV. (my sister, also my roommate, likes watching Fashion Police during Oscar season and E! News throughout the year)
But I just learned that Sling TV now offers E! along with all of the cooking and home improvement shows and so I'm back trying to figure out a way to get access to TV shows and movies.
I did some rough calculations and I think I can get the total package of streaming services for $90, including Sling. If there's an ISP that offers decent enough service for under $50 then we'll be saving at least $50 a month. That's a decent amount of savings.
