SFV impressions so far : not bad, stuck in training mode and i got matches every 10 minutes

Ryu
1. Feels like 3s but just a tad slower, very easy hit confirms, good dash. all his poke strings from 3s work here, much more dirtier here tho, in 3s you would fish for short short super, now you fish low short into stand jab link into stand strong link into his fierce roundhouse combo or low roundhouse. different moveset, same concept
2. V Trigger is very useful, can cancel from low fierce to extend combo or use far away and zone ala ST, he is pretty deadly full screen and upclose
3. Parry is good but not a gamebreaker
4. EX Hurricane Kick is a good wake up option, acts like the old HK supers from the Alpha series

Birdie
1. Think of having the T Hawk vortex with the ambiguous crossup into SPD nonsense / a safe Balrog jab dash punch / SF2 like regular throw priority..you can mash on throw while in blockstun while decent upclose and get his throw..ridiculous
2. easy to use / alot of tricks
3. V Trigger is strong, turns his Bull Rush into multi hits, fierce one on block doesnt seem safe
4. V Skill easy go charge up, get a grab or knockdown and fill your meter eaily

Chun Li
1. Well rounded, good pokes, good foot speed, can play awesome footsies
2. low forward into Super feels like 3S Ken SA3 low forward into super, once you see the animation of the hit you can finish the buffer, if you get a counter hit, you get enough time ala 3S Chun Li SA2 low forward into super
3. V Trigger has alot of shennanigans,you can knock the opponent down and then setup an ambiguous jumping forward that can hit front or back, and then go into V Trigger launch again then rinse an repeat, if your character doesnt have a wake up option, good luck

Overall game feels fun / a good break from SF4 / more based on an upclose to mid range fight / feels like a mix of ST because of the high damage and how fast you charge both of your gauges and 3S because of the upclose ground game and the fast dashing
