It takes inspiration from the entire franchise, but it borrows much more from ST and 3S than it does from IV or Alpha. It feels like all of the games and none of them at the same time.

If you try to play it like you played IV you'll get blown up. The Focus system is gone and the V-system doesn't give you easy armor or combo set ups. You gotta play honest, otherwise you'll get punished and the damage is too high to fuck around.

Lookswise? The shift in art style is not like the one from III to IV, but it is like the one from II to III. The character models are brand new. The design is more detailed. The animation is more fluid. It looks even better in person, but niggas should be able to tell the difference from YouTube. Saying IV and V look the same is like saying Mario 3 and Super Mario World look the same. Yeah, they kinda do, but not really.
