Someone must have told him to calm down with the radio play-by-play, and I'm glad. He genuinely did a solid job this weekend.

This also reminds me of a WNF several months ago when whoever was on the mic was doing the same thing, but with frame advantage. He was giving a particularly feverish and verbose play-by-play, then suddenly he broke out into nothing but frame advantages. "PLUS ONE! MINUS TWO! EVEN! MINUS FIVE! OHHHH MINUS NINE!" Then after about 15 seconds of that, you could hear Valle yell "Dude, calm the FUCK down!" Lol
