thanks. went back to the garage from the first franklin mission -- there was a light vest in one of the garages you searched -- but it wasn't there again.

you get to keep your guns when you're wasted. busted, too, but they take your ammo. with that in mind, i'm guessing they dropped the random weapons on the map because what's the point.

i still miss the random police bribes laying around. cops don't play in this version.
