The performance of the GTX 285 has been everything I could ask for up until it's started crashing the driver so often as to be useless, and it's a 1GB card with architecture that's hardly new by this point.


Before I pull the trigger, though, I'm going to test things on my old 9600 to make 100% sure the driver crashes *are* the hardware and not a software bug. But assuming so, I'm pretty sure I'll stick with the 2GB variety since I'm just a dabbler in other uses for the card.
