If Gamestop continues their business model as-is, then the "used" digital distribution model with 24hr DRM doesn't seem like it will bring a lot of benefit to the consumer.
But, depending on how independent publishing works on XBL, hopefully it could mean an even bigger presence for indies on the platform. Since they would never distribute through retailers, ideally MS would let developers have a bigger say on pricing.
