I don't see the value in paying for phone upgrades, I just wait til the 2 years is expired and I can do it for free. I don't want an iPad, I want a MacBook.


So to me, if you're going to pay $500 for a phone or a tablet...and that makes SENSE to you, how does it not make sense to buy yourself a gaming rig that, these days, is not only that but an internet browser, a Netflix/Hulu/YouTube (huge, HD YouTube at that) NFL/NHL-on-TV box, a blu-ray player, and then all that other totally random shit maybe 1% of users take advantage of (home stereo base, children's birthday party slideshow hoster, whatever)...

yea, I'll pay $500 for that. If I have the money. If I don't, and I don't, then the first day PS4 probably isn't for me anyway, since it's going to be more fun to mess around in the menus than it will be to play games if pretty much EVERY console launch is any indication.


I mean when I got my PS3 in I think '08, I played more of the DIRT and Super Stardust HD demos than any actual games until, like, skate came out or something.
