please nobody bitch about the camping. this is how all the new games start until people learn the maps so stfu.

okay the game feels very arcadey. I know COD is not the benchmark for realistic game play. But this almost seems like Halo light. Climbing up ladders, jumping, jumping to prone all happen at ridiculous speeds. Even the speed that the guys move are faster.

Like the last Black Ops there is a lot of equipment. A LOT! That was my biggest complaint about the first black ops. To much shit. But Treyarch took care of that with barebones mode. Barebones mode isnt in this one...yet? Hopefully they bring it back.

Finding your right sensitivity is going to take some tweaking. Learning to move in this game will too. As you all know for some reason the two companies that make COD games cant use the same physics. Also the knife has been nerfed to shit. It has zero range. Throw in faster moving players and be prepared for a lot of swinging and missing and guys run past each other in hallways. Annoying as fuck. I understand taking away the ability to knife through bullets. But it feels like I have t-rex arms. I have gotten better results with praying and spraying .

the maps. I played for a couple of hours and only played like 4 maps. Nuketown was never an option. Most are okay. There is one right off the bat that is horrible. Its the cruise ship map. Its a campers dream. Long hallways that you can camp. Throw in a nice cabin quarter that is on the second floor overlooking the entire map. It reminds me of the cargo ship from COD4. Really bad. Other than that good...so far.

got a lot of lag tonight. A LOT! Made it really hard to judge the game with out being frustrated from lag. I'll be on tomorrow afternoon again. Like all COD games. At first its annoying because of the changes. But in a couple of weeks it should get better.
