it can't be as simple as that. and by simple I mean $50/yr = more firewalls, network security personell, etc.
did Sony bring this on themselves with that whole GeoHot situation?
Could Anon do the same to XBL if they wanted to?
Why now? both services have been up and running for at least 5 years.
Anybody care to speculate?
