It looks like you can play games that aren't in the current week. I played two last night that are listed in other weeks.

Should we just play the current week or should we play at least 5 games a week regardless of the current week schedule. I'm fine either way but I think we should decide.

Actually I am leaning towards the 5 games a week minimum - especially since there isn't any type of division setup. Or would this cause a problem?

...i always wished you could play your other games instead of waiting days for 2 guys to finish one game ..only thing is, we're going to have players that finish all their games in like 2 weeks, and then they'll have to wait a long time to start play offs

...there may not be a way to change this option either, but what is everyone's thoughts on this?

Doesn't it feel like the players are on ice when they first get the ball? I also think the passing is worse in this one than last years.

..i had a decent feel for 2k11, then codbo came out and i stopped playing 2k for a month ..u really cant pass to anyone except whos completely open too or else pick

Why is the passing a piece of shit and you end up passinng to people your not trying to only to get picked off? Once you do pass the players move on their own and slide in a direction. The shots are significantly off and defense is damn near non existent -- if you play on-the-ball d.

The passing has been rather hit or miss

They say you can make the receiver come to the ball and all that but there are glitches in the game where the passes are still intercepted.

As for the shooting turning on the shot timing meter helped me a lot with shooting. Don't know if it'll work for everyone but it definitely helped me.

Now the defense I have to agree with you. Certain animations make it impossible to defend. Like when your defender slides right pass his man as he cuts to the basket.

Because when your missing wide open shots with Ben Gordon SOMETHING's gotta give

The timing is different between playing offline and online. I learned that the hard way. Offline I can knock down shots with Affalo online totally different

his shot is already funky, but online it's even worse...once you get it down though....G-A-M-E O-V-E-R...just ask LB....lol

I love my 82 game season and it's the only thing i can pause so I can chase my 3 & 1 year olds around without losing concentration in the game (which is the reason Mass Effect 2, Boarderlands etc. aren't done yet)


Previous to this year it's never been this bad

...but most important, is you can ONLY pass to guys that are open ...if he's got a guy between him, its gonna be a turnover

I have to play offline too.

If a defender's back is to me, I should be able to pass the ball to the guy he's half-ass guarding. But not in 2k11, these fuckers have eyes in the back of their head. They just reach up and tip it as if they know its coming. The lead passing is some bullshit too. It works when it wants to and not when YOU want it to.

I think the high altitude could help Amare's rebounding.

There are a few owners who are around the "5 games played" mark and will need to get some games in soon, but like we mentioned its the holiday period and we'll let it slide. If your one of these teams, please schedule and play some games by this weekend if possible.

Chicago has been dominating the east so far this season along with Miami, while Detroit and New York who both lost 3 in a row, try and keep their positions in the east playoff race..

Denver has been the best team in the entire league. Owning 1st place in the west, with Utah also playing excellent basketball as of late. Inconsistent LA and OKC teams currently round out the last 2 playoff spots in the west.

To all the owners, have a safe and happy new year, and rest of the season... see you on the court!

Good question though...it's stalled out. That's the only bad thing about having an open schedule (there is no sense of urgency to get your games played).

Yeah, it was a grinding type game. I fought for every basket and Bellineli finally got going in the 4th. Too try and make it close. But too little too late. Paul not taking that show was so upsetting. Another bug I hate about this game. That and all the backcourt violations I get. You know how you're bringing the ball up court and a defender gets in the way so the canned animation makes your guy step back. I get at least one backcourt violation a game because of that. *I'm* not moving the guy backwards, the effin' computer is. It's ridiculous.

Seemed like your controller was messing up and you had to keep calling timeouts. I guess my new thing is cursing the other teams so they can't hit a airplan hanger while playing me so my crappy ass shooting looks better with the rebounds.

I had to keep running outside shifting food on the grill. I was all out of wack that whole game. By the time I got somewhat of a rhythm it was midway through the 3rd quarter.

it's just we didn't have players that were dedicated that's all. There still a few us that ball regularly but Black Ops has kept a lot of cats busy too lol.

We have to have rules that we agree to and set it up so that there are consequences for not abiding by said rules. We may even to need to see if LB can agree to act as a consultant, where time permits, to make keep everyone in line. I appreciate this league and the competitive nature of it and refuse to see it die a slow and painful death.

Allowing people to play anytime they wanted created a situation where heads weren't pressed to get their games in. I think I made a pretty good effort to get my games in. Whenever somebody requested a game, I made myself available. I sent messages to folks when I saw them online. I even gave options in this post to contact me for people who wanted to get games in. But there were some folks whom I *never* even saw online. I mean, where TF did Chap go? We just need to go back to weekly schedule with penalties if you miss too many games. Like if you miss more than 2 "unexcused" games, then you should A) Either forfeit the rest of the season or B) have someone else take over as owner.

...in past seasons we had 16 ...maybe we're at the point where we need to cut it to 12 or 10 teams ...in reality, it was only 2 or 3 users that really held up the league
