the difference is, I at least attempted shots outside of that area...they just didn't go in. That's not the story with some of these box scores/shot charts that I've been looking at.

case and point:

you're absolutely right right here...but "stopping it" has a lot to do with who is on your team, than who is behind the sticks IMHO.

If you're let's say Houston playing against...the Knicks, Yao Ming CLEARLY has an advantage in that situation. If Yao is constantly being fed in the post every trip, more times than not...David Lee isn't going to stop him.

This is the point where the game becomes no fun...you have 2 guys running back and forth dunking on each other. One trying to increase his lead, and the other trying to keep the game close.

That's all I'm saying...could the Defense be better? Probably, BUT bad defense isn't the sole reason that all these points are being surrendered underneath the basket.

and for the record, I'd like to say, that although you use the C's, you play the most well-rounded game of anyone that I've ever played using a "powerhouse" team. Step-back jumpers, actually letting plays develop, finding your men off of screens, etc. Even losing after losing by 15-20, I respect your approach to the game, because you could EASILY go another route with it.
