General strat wise, you can throw him or sweep him in the middle of his roll. If you try towards the end of his throw animation, you'll most likely get thrown so time it right.

He doesn't have a reliable reversal on wake up besides rolling out of trouble, so if you get a knockdown, jump in with a meaty attack. He'll be forced to block or roll out of there. As soon as he starts rolling out of trouble every time you can expect it and punish him for it.

HIs block string mixups are tricky as hell. that step kick will leave you in a lot of block stun and it leaves you and abel neutral on frames. If you see that kick he'll most likely go for the throw to see how you react to it. Depending on how you react to the first throw, the Abel player will adjust accordingly. Neutral jump and come down with a combo.

jumping out of strings isn't as reliable as back dashing. Don't become too predictable with the back dashes though, as Abel can sense a back dash and sweep
