Why can't the iphone do it.
On top of that, the whole 'the market speaks' is a moot point because the market has spoken for many inferior products. And also, blackberry currently rules the roost of the smartphone market, with a machine that's basically a overclocked lcd watch, lol. So I guess the market does want to be able to multitask;)
