oh and lol @ being decided solely on skill. mw and mw2 are not for people who want to play a balanced game based on skill. the unlocking rank system gives a huge advantage to people that play more. the small amount of shots you can take before you die puts a huge emphasis on hiding and knowing the right spots. in my opinion there's actually very little skill involved.
