Uncharted 2 PS3 climbs past Halo 3: ODST sales

Advanced sales for Sony Corp.'s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for the Playstation 3 climbed past Microsoft Corp.'s Halo 3: ODST for the Xbox 360 at retailer Amazon.com.
On Thurs., Uncharted 2 ranked as the No. 2 best-selling product in Amazon's Video Games division, while Halo 3: ODST ranked as the No. 3 product in the same period.

Uncharted 2 will be released on Oct. 13 to U.S. retail.

Amazon is offering a $5 Video Games Credit and free bonus treasure map that reveals secret locations of treasures hidden in the game that can be viewed on the PS3 and the PSP handheld to pre-order customers.

The title carries a pre-sale price of $56.99.

Halo 3: ODST is a stand-alone expansion title that includes cooperative and competitive online functionality.

Sony this month began sale of the PS3 Slim, a 120GB SKU with built-in Blu-ray functionality at $299.99.
