because they won't spend the $5 to put something some people will use in their machine

while the other company is valiant and forward thinking for not spending 10 cents to put something in everyone uses. or $5 to put in something that will et it do what says it does on the box. or charge $50 after the fact to enjoy the same features it launched a decade ago.
